Juliana Garcia, a junior at Basha High in Arizona, placed second in the girls elite discus throw competition with a mark of 134-8 (41.06m) at the 84th NIKE Chandler Rotary Invitational in Chandler, Ariz. Garcia also finished 14th in the elite shot put with a 33-3 (10.13m) performance.
